  8. you use zMUD.  You should carefully read the
  9. following terms and conditions before using this
  10. software.  By clicking the Accept button below you
  11. indicate your acceptance of this license agreement
  12. and warranty.  This agreement shall be governed by
  13. the laws of the State of New Mexico.

  17. One registered copy of zMUD may either be used by
  18. a single person who uses the software personally
  19. on one or more computers.  zMUD is registered to
  20. you as a person, and not to your computer.  If
  21. zMUD is installed on a network, all users of zMUD
  22. must obtain an individual personal license for
  23. the software.

  25. You are prohibited from giving copies of your
  26. registration ID to others.  Your registration ID
  27. is assigned to you as a person and can be tracked
  28. back to you.  Protect your ID as you would protect
  29. a password.

  34. "AS IS" AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES AS TO PERFORMANCE

  37. held liable for any damage to your computer system
  38. or data files, or for any actions brought against
  39. the you for using this software.  The user must

  44. imposed by any MUD they play relating to the use of

  49. Evaluation and Registration

  51. This is not free software.  You are hereby licensed
  52. to use this software for evaluation purposes without
  53. charge for a period of 30 days.  If you use this
  54. software after the 30 day evaluation period a
  55. registration fee is required.  This software may be
  56. registered using the supplied REGISTER program, or
  57. via an SSL-enabled broswer from the zMUD web page
  58. at http://www.trail.com/~zugg/register.html.  When
  59. payment is received, you will receive a user ID
  60. code that can be entered into the Register option
  61. in the Help menu of zMUD to register your copy.
  62. Unregistered use of zMUD after the 30-day evaluation
  63. period is in violation of U.S. and international
  64. copyright laws.

  68. The Shareware version of zMUD may be freely
  69. distributed.  You must include all files included
  70. in the distribution package.  You are specifically
  71. prohibited from charging, or requesting donations,
  72. for any such copies, however made; and from
  73. distributing the software and/or documentation
  74. with other products without prior written permission
  75. of the author.
